The law had only recently passed, and it was the most controversial thing the government had ever done before. The law stated that any adult woman could be captured and sold at auction. It had only been in effect for a few weeks now, and everything had already changed completely. Women were mostly in hiding now, although most had already been captured.

Warren hadn’t put much thought into the law until it had already passed. Once it did, though, he stood to gain quite a bit. He was well off and could afford to purchase just about any woman who went up for action. When one of his best friends, Grace, had been put up, he hadn’t hesitated to purchase her and have her transferred to his home. He had also bought Rachel the day after the law went into effect. He had known her in high school and decided he should keep her around as well.

So far, he hadn’t done anything with Rachel. She was kept in her room until he had a use for her. A few days after Grace arrived, he decided to finally take real advantage of the new law and make use of the two women he owned. He called up a few of his friends and invited them over for a good time. Warren led them through his house and brought them to the room Rachel was being kept.

“Have fun you three,” he said with a smile. Warren left her to them as he headed to Grace’s room all alone. He hadn’t seen her since he had purchased her, so he wasn’t sure how she would react to seeing him.

He opened the door to her room and slipped inside. It was just the two of them, with Grace against the far wall and bound to it with rope. Grace was completely naked and as beautiful as ever. His eyes roamed up and down her bare body, taking in the sight of her for the first time.

“Warren,” she said desperately. “I’m so glad to see you. I don’t understand what’s going on.” She was blushing as his eyes moved over her, but with her hands bound, she couldn’t cover herself up.

“You know about the law, right Grace?” he asked, closing the door behind him. “All women are property now.”

“Yes, but I don’t understand why I was tied up. I really appreciate you rescuing me from the auction,” she said. “I thought some foul man would purchase me instead.” She paused for a moment. “Why did your servant take away my clothes?”

“Because I told him to,” Warren said with a smile. He felt a little guilty about all of this. Grace was his best friend, but the law had changed, and so their relationship would as well.
