Horny Wild Dogs
Nina grasped Gina, her dearest sister’s hand, and ventured inside the barn. The two girls could barely see in the dim light, but fortunately, the moon shined through to assist them. “This is supposed to be a high school graduation party—where is everybody?” Nina voiced, breaking the silence.
“Maybe they’re not here yet,” Gina answered. She wore a deep blue one-piece gown enhanced by shiny silver and gold jewelry embellishments. “Where are all the speakers and parents?”
Nina switched on her phone’s flashlight and looked around. It was apparent nobody else was there, not even any snacks or drinks. “What is happening here?” she questioned, her forehead creased in confusion as she spotted the scattered manure piles.
Gina wrinkled her nose in disgust. “I think someone is trying to play a joke on us,” she muttered as she pulled out her phone, the black glass glimmering in her hand. “Call Tina,” she said into the receiver.
“Is someone there?” a sultry voice spoke.
“Tina, I’m pretty positive some jerk tried to punk us good,” Gina replied.
Music blared in the background, along with cheers from what sounded like a party. “Where are you?”
“Me and Nina got ourselves into an old barn outside of Route 30,” Gina sighed. “We’re headed your way. Should be there in half an hour.”
“We don’t have much time; they’re about to announce Prom King and Queen. Give me a shout if you need anything else; I gotta run.” The line disconnected.
Gina scanned the barn for her sister, Nina. “Where’d you go?”
Nina had ventured off towards a broken door and managed to squeeze through it into a virtually ruined part of the barn. “I’m over here! Come check this out,” she said, her tone full of anticipation as she leaned forward and her hands began to shake.
Gina leaned in close, afraid her dress would get soiled if she crouched down. “Are you out of your mind?” she asked. “We have to go. Tina said they’re about to make an announcement.”
Nina interrupted her sister, “Hey, it’s a baby animal. You really want to come inside here. It’s well-lit since the roof caved in… Do you know what kind of species this is?”
